MyCigna: Easier to navigate. Easier to use.

Cigna is rolling out enhancements to the myCigna® experience in 2019 – beginning with updates to site navigation and home page content.

The updated site includes a redesigned homepage that consists of:

  • A dashboard with relevant information for customers 
  • Enhanced site navigation to reduce the need for multiple clicks 
  • A cleaner, more intuitive "Find Care" interface
  • Many other changes that will improve our customers’ experience

More integrated. More consistent.
In the coming months, myCigna will put the focus on a holistic view of health care, encompassing medical, behavioral, dental and pharmacy content (depending on the customer's plan coverages). In addition to the recent integration of Cigna Behavioral Health within myCigna, we're continuing to enhance our provider directory – which provides information about costs, quality and locations to help customers find the right care for their needs.

Editor’s Note: In last quarter’s “Cigna Big Picture” newsletter, we featured an article entitled “Connected Benefits Help Drive Engagement and Savings” which revealed that when medical, behavioral and pharmacy benefits are integrated (versus those with only Cigna medical and basic behavioral coverage) customers are more engaged.*

  • 22% more individuals engage in health coaching and case management programs
  • 15% more individuals complete multiple health improvement activities
The myCigna app is also being enhanced.
As our digital capabilities evolve, the myCigna app is being updated as well - with a streamlined design that matches the website for a better overall user experience.  The app will continue to evolve to include easier access to data and information available on the dashboard. It will be easier for customers to learn about their coverage and to find in-network providers. 

 

All with the customer in mind.
These enhancements to the myCigna® website and app are directly in response to customer feedback about how they want to use these services to make the most of their health plans. Now it will be easier than ever to access the tools and information our customers need to help achieve their wellness goals and manage their health-related finances.

More improvements are expected throughout the year, including enhancements related to claims, spending accounts, and other functionality.
