Deep drug discounts for uninsured during COVID-19

As of May 1, 2020, Express Scripts, a Cigna company, began offering Parachute RxSM. This temporary new drug savings program helps ensure that Americans who are uninsured continue to stay adherent to their prescription medications during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re able to offer this extraordinary savings opportunity to match the need of these extraordinary times thanks to a unique partnership with pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacies.

With this program, individuals pay up to a maximum of $25 for 30-day supplies of thousands of generics and up to $75 for 30-day supplies of select brand-name drugs. The medications are among the most commonly used treatments in the United States for conditions such as asthma, diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, migraine and more. Additional medications may be added to the program over time.

Individuals who lost coverage are eligible and can choose to get their medication delivered to their home from Express Scripts Pharmacy® or at one of more than 50,000 participating retail pharmacies, including national chains such as Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid, as well as thousands of grocers and local community pharmacies.
